The EPS Executive Committee met in Athens, Greece on 22-23 January 2016. The meeting was hosted by S. Sotiriou, who is the head of the physics department at the Ellino Germaniki school in Athens. This school is a leader in inquiry based science education. The Executive Committee discussed, among other affairs, the preparation of the EPS Council meeting 2016, the creation of a new EPS Advisory Board for Science Policy and the review of the EPS Strategy. 2 November 2015: John Dudley, EPS vice-president, represented EPS at an IYL 2015 event at the Louvre (France) on Augustin Fresnel and the boundary between art and science seen through his works.
The EPS Executive Committee met in Brussels on 17-20 October 2015. The meeting was chaired by the EPS President, C. Rossel. The Members of the Executive Committee present were: A. Bracco, L. Di Ciaccio, A. Friberg, Z. Fulop, C. Hidalgo, G. Leuchs, E. Rachlew, M. Reiffers and F. Saunders. Excused were J. Dudley, T. Müller, and S. Sotiriou. Invited were E. van Groningen, C. Latimer, D. Lee, and V. Velasco.

2 October 2015: Lucia Di Ciaccio, honorary secretary of the EPS Executive Committee, presented on behalf of the EPS President the Emmy Noether certificate to Anna Fontcuberta i Morral, at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne [EPFL] in Lausanne (CH).
2 October 2015: Christophe Rossel, EPS president, chaired the meeting of the representatives of the EPS Member Societies [MS] at the EPS office in Belgium (rue du Trône 62, Brussels) focusing on the relations between EPS and its MS and on the way to interact with the EU institutions (Commission, Government, ERC, etc.) David Lee, EPS Secretary General, and Ophélia Fornari, EPS conference assistant, attended the meeting.

1-4 September: Christophe Rossel, EPS president, attended the joint annual Meeting of the Austrian and Swiss Physical Societies at TU Wien, Vienna, delivering one opening address and chairing two sessions (one plenary and one on Condensed Matter Physics)
