Nominations are sought for the Young Scientist Prize in Atomic, Molecular and Optical (AMO) Physics, which will be awarded in 2019 by the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics through Commission C15 (AMO Physics).
The EPS works to support its members. Find below the list of activities of the EPS Executive Committee and staff in summer:
International conference to highlight new frontiers in lasers, photonics and optical science across a wide range of technical areas
The CLEO®/Europe-EQEC conference series has a strong tradition as a comprehensive and prestigious gathering of optics and photonics researchers and engineers in Europe.
The International Symposium “Setting Their Table: Women and the Periodic Table” will be held from 11-12 February 2019 in Murcia, Spain.
The first EPS (European Physical Society) Conference on Gravitation will be held at the Sapienza University (Rome, Italy) from 19-21 February 2019.
The aim of the conference is to discuss about several aspects of Gravitation, such as measurements of the G constant, Quantum Gravity, Geodesy, General Relativity tests, and obviously Gravitational Waves (from the experimental, theoretical and data analysis point of views).
