12th International Conference of the Society of Physicists of Macedonia 2018

The conference is organised by the Society of Physicists of Macedonia (DFRM), in cooperation with the Institute of Physics, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. It will take place at the Congress Centre Ohrid, Macedonia (http://www.ukim.edu.mk/kc/index_eng.html) from 27-30 September 2018.

The creation of a forum for sharing and discussion of the relevant state-of-the-art research results in all fields of physics, and promoting idea exchange between researchers from Macedonia and all over the world is the aim of the biennale conference on physics organized by the Society of Physicists of Macedonia and the Institute of Physics, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. Various topics from all fields of experimental and theoretical physics, as well as physics education are covered within the scope of the conference.

The conference is open to all scientists, educators, engineers etc., working in physics and related areas. Young scientists and students are also highly encouraged to give their contribution.

Conference program includes invited talks, oral presentations and poster sessions. There is only one parallel session: Physics Education. Part of the accepted papers will be published in Physica Macedonica (which is an official publication of the Institute of Physics), while those dedicated to physics education and teaching will be published in Macedonian Physics Teacher (publication of the Society of Physicists of Macedonia).
