Anatoly Zayats, John Ellis and Roy Pike are the organisers of a discussion meeting on Unifying physics and technology in light of Maxwell’s equations, to be held in the Royal Society, London, UK, from 16-17 November 2015.
This workshop is organised by the Institute for Nuclear Research, Hungarian Academy of Sciences, the Wigner Research Centre for Physics, Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the European Physical Society in the frame of the International Year of Light. It will take place in Debrecen, Hungary, from 30 November to 2 December 2015.
The First African Light Source Conference will take place from 15-20 November 2015 at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility [ESRF] in Grenoble, France. It is the first in a series of conferences that will be held in Africa in the future.
The conference will review the status of the African User Base at international light sources with presentations of the African research at Light Sources.
How can we target and eliminate existing blind spots concerning the importance of sex and gender in science and research?
