Trends in Nanotechnology Conference
The 2012 Trends in Nanotechnology International Conference [TNT 2012] will be held in the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales, Madrid, from 10-14 September this year. The conference – the 13th in the TNT series – aims to be a forum for discussing current research in the fields of nanoscience and nanotechnology and related topics.
Topics under discussion at the event will include: atoms and molecular computing; high spatial resolution spectroscopies under SPM probe; grapheme and carbon nanotube based nanoelectronics and field emission; low dimensional materials; nanobiotechnologies and nanomedicine; nanochemistry; nanofabrication tools and nanoscale integration; nanomagnetism and spintronics; nanomaterials for energy; nanooptics, nanophotonics and plasmonics; nanostructured and nanoparticle based materials ;nanotechnologies for security & defence; risks-toxicity-regulations; and theory and modelling at the nanoscale.
As a European Physical Society [EPS] sponsored conference, EPS Individual Members will receive a discounted registration fee at the event. In addition, the EPS will be presenting a prize – to the sum of 250 euros – to the best student poster presentation during the conference.
The deadline for early registration is 27 June. Oral abstracts should be submitted by 12 June; posters by 27 July.
