A competition to design museum quality exhibits has been opened by Mathematics of Planet Earth 2013 [MPE2013]. The exhibits – which could be image, video, programme or physically based – will contribute to MPE 2013’s aim of showcasing the ways in which mathematics can be used to tackle worldwide problems.
The top three modules will be awarded respective cash prizes of 5,000, 3,000, and 2,000 USD. Winning exhibits will also be displayed both on the exhibition website and in special exhibitions…
Odysseus – the pan-European space-science contest for 14-18 year olds – has officially launched.
