Cracking the code: girls’ education in STEM
The UNESCO International Symposium and Policy Forum will take place from 28-30 August 2017 in Bangkok, Thailand.
IONS Balvanyos 2017 Conference
The IONS Balvanyos 2017 Conference will take place from 25-28 July 2017 in Balvanyos, Romania.
Triangular Current Profile for Future High-energy Accelerators
Beam-driven, collinear wakefield acceleration is one of the most promising methods proposed for the next generation of high-energy physics accelerators. This method has some similarities to a transformer where the wakefield plays the role of the voltage. A high-current drive beam experiences a low wakefield when it passes a media (e.g. plasma, dielectric structure, etc), and this is transformed into a high wakefield to accelerate a trailing low-current witness beam.
Communicating Science
Communicating science is a notoriously thorny subject. On the one hand, there has never been a greater acknowledgement of our collective need for scientific understanding. In our technologically sophisticated age, it is often maintained, it is paramount to develop a scientifically literate society to allow us to best grapple with a litany of pressing, often science-related, issues.
EPS Condensed Matter Division : CMD 27 – DPG Spring meeting : call for session proposals
The next conference of the Condensed Matter Division of the EPS, CMD 27, will be held jointly with the Spring meeting of the Condensed Matter Section (SKM) of the German Physical Society DPG in Berlin, on March 11th – 16th, 2018. For this special edition of CMD, marking the 50th anniversary of the EPS, we are expecting over 5,000 participants from all over Europe.
EGAS 2017
With great pleasure, we invite you to attend EGAS 2017 – the 49th Conference of the European Group on Atomic Systems. The conference will be held at Durham University in the UK, July 17 – 21 2017. As with previous editions, the EGAS conference will be the annual venue for meeting distinguished specialists in the field and a source of scientific inspiration.
Norwegian Physicist meeting
The Norwegian Physicist meeting will be held from 7–9 August 2017 in Tromsø, Norway.
The venue is the new Technology building, home of the Physics and Technology, and Engineering departments at University of Tromsø, The Arctic University of Norway.

The programme committee members together with the conference chairs are happy to announce CLEO®/Europe-EQEC 2017 the Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics/Europe and the European Quantum Electronics Conference to take place from Sunday 25 June to Thursday 29 June 2017 in Munich (ICM), Germany.
