News from the EPS Condensed Matter Division
The Liquid Physics Section of EPS-CMD sollicits nominations for the 2020 EPS Liquid Matter Prize. The prize will be awarded to a single person who has made outstanding contributions to the science of liquid matter in the experimental or theoretical area, and who is still active in research. The award may be given for pure or applied research. It will be awarded during the 11th Liquid Matter Conference to be held in Prague, Czech Republic, 20–24 July 2020. Call for Minicolloquia at CMD28 – Madrid - CMD28 will be in held Madrid as CMD 2020 GEFES, from August 31st through September 4th, 2020. As usual, a large selection of Mini-colloquia will gather specific scientific communities at the conference. All are welcomed to submit proposals for a mini-colloquia at CMD2020GEFES. Details about mini-colloquia and how to submit a proposal can be found under the following link (https://eventos.uam.es/28512/section/19470/2020-joint-conference-of-the-condensed-matter-divisions-of-eps-cmd-and-rsef-gefes.html). Proposals must emanate from a minimum of two, and a maximum of four organisers, all from different laboratories. The organising team must comprise at least one organiser from Spain, and, at least, one European organiser from a different country. The deadline for submissions of mini-colloquia proposals is November 15th, 2019.
