Highlights from EPL
Recent updates and changes at EPL can be found on the journal homepage.
The present Editor-in-Chief, Giorgio Benedek, has agreed to extend his term for another year. New appointments of Co-Editors to the Editorial Board bring the total number of expert active researchers up to 62 with the ability to process and peer review any submission arriving within the extremely broad scope of EPL. See the complete list here.
Several more short reviews published by leading researchers on subjects of great impact in topics of physics are now online – see ‘Perspectives‘ for the list. About half of these articles are related to International Year of Light topics, including the most recent published article “Light and the distribution of time“.
The Compilation Index is an excellent place to find a selected list of articles relating to your specific research field. New lists are frequently constructed and existing ones updated.
Event support and awards for young researchers are a strong feature of EPL promotion. Award recipients so far this year are available here.
Delegate pack material is often provided for further visibility. For example, at the CLEO/Europe event in Munich.
Promotional material continues to be on the exhibition stand at many events throughout the year – some forthcoming examples:
- Quantum Fluid Clusters in Toulouse;
- EPS Plasma Physics in Lisbon;
- Graphene Week 2015 in Manchester;
- Ferroelectric Liquid Crystals in Prague;
- META’15 in New York;
- two summer schools in Varenna: Soft Matter Self-Assembly and Complex Photonics (http://en.sif.it/activities/fermi_school/mmxv).
