The 3rd International Conference on Physics Science and Technology [ICPST 2012] will be held in Hong Kong on 29-30 December 2012.

The conference aims to promote research and developmental activities in physics science and technology, and the scientific information interchange between researchers, developers, engineers, students, and practitioners from around the world.

This year, all ICPST 2012 conference papers will be published as proceedings, which will be indexed by the Ei Compendex, ISI Conference Proceedings Citation Index and other major indexing services.

Laura Bassi: Emblem and primacy

A volume in honour of Laura Bassi was recently presented in Bologna, Italy, at the Accademia dell'Istituto delle Scienze, in the presence of the Undersecretary of State for Education, University and Research, Elena Ugolini.
