Quark Matter 2012
The 23rd International Conference on Ultra-Relativistic Nucleus-Nucleus Collisions [Quark Matter 2012] is being held at the Washington Omni Shoreham Hotel, in Washington DC, on 13-18 August this year.
Topics under discussion will include: electromagnetic probes; future experimental facilities, upgrades, and instrumentation; global and collective dynamics; hadron thermodynamics; heavy flavour and quarkonia; jet correlations and fluctuations; new theoretical developments; pre-equilibrium and initial state physics; QCD at high temperature and density; and QCD phase diagrams. The conference will also be preceded by a student day on 12 August.
Conference registration is currently open, with the early registration deadline being 10 June. Discounted accommodation at the conference hotel will be available to registered participants via the conference website. Attendees requiring letters of invitation, for visa applications, are requested to contact the conference organisers qm2012 [at] bnl [dot] gov before 20 May.
