Nominations open for Plasma Physics Innovation Prize
Nominations are now open for the 2012 EPS Plasma Physics Innovation Prize. Supported by the EPS Plasma Physics Division, the prize exists to promote and recognise innovation stemming from this field. A broad spectrum of nominations is encouraged.
The award, established in 2008, is given annually and consists of a certificate and a 3000 euro prize.
Any existing work derived from the field of plasma physics – such as a product, process or a tool enabling a practical application – will be considered. Candidates need not be EPS members and there are also no geographical restrictions on nominations. Proposals for prize sharing will also be admitted.
Completed nomination forms should be sent to the Plasma Physics Division chair, Carlos Hidalgo carlos [dot] hidalgo [at] ciemat [dot] es1. The deadline for nominations is 1 November this year.
